2026 Peculiar Tailgate Festival

Garry Lincoln, born in Columbia and raised in Blue Springs, discovered his love of music early and found his true voice in country at 15, inspired by Randy Travis. By 18 he was writing his own songs, and after teaching himself guitar, he chased his dream all the way to Nashville, where he spent several years singing demos, writing music, and opening for major artists.

Garry eventually returned to the Kansas City area to raise his family, but continued to travel back and forth to Nashville for projects and performances. Today, he’s a proud father of four, a lifelong musician, and an active supporter of Toys for Tots and Children’s Miracle Network. His favorite motto sums him up best: “Don’t try to be perfect, just be an excellent example of being human.”
