About the Peculiar Area Chamber of Commerce
The Peculiar Area Chamber of Commerce (PACC) began in 2001 with the focus of promoting our local businesses and as a result improving our area’s economic development and improving the overall quality of life for the residents and guests of Peculiar. Our chamber has become Peculiar’s best resource for helping businesses develop and achieve individual business and community goals.
We are always working hard to find new ways to promote our member’s businesses through a variety of means:
- Staying active in the community
- Embracing the latest tools for advertising and marketing
- Being an advocate for our members by staying on top of local, state, and federal government and commerce regulations and resources
- Striving to be community leaders with a spirit of unity
The PACC consists of current business owners serving fellow community business owners and the community we live in. Through the years we’ve had the honor of sponsoring delegates to Boys and Girls State, hosted the Harvest Moon Festival in its many forms, recognized our First Responders annually, and hosted a free Easter Egg hunt for our community families each year. We are continually looking for innovative and inspired ways to promote our partners in the fast growing city of Peculiar, for our local business community and city leadership, and the Cass County business community as a whole.

Mission Statement
The Peculiar Area Chamber of Commerce is organized to advance the general welfare and prosperity of the Peculiar Area, so that its citizens and all areas of its business community shall prosper. Accordingly, business and community growth and development will be promoted by: supporting programs designed to strengthen and expand the income potential of all business within the trade area; expanding the business base by marketing the community to attract new business into the area and with it additional employment; promoting city development and business incentives for growth; and promoting programs of a civic, social and cultural nature which are designed to increase the functional and aesthetic values of the community.
