Purpose
The Peculiar Area Chamber of Commerce is
organized
to advance the general
welfare
and
prosperity of the Peculiar area so that its citizens and all
areas
of its business community shall
prosper.
Accordingly, business and community
growth and
development will be
promoted
by:

supporting programs designed to
strengthen
and expand the income
potential
of all business within
the
trade area
-
expanding the business base by
marketing
the community to attract new
business into the area and with
it
additional
employment
-
promoting city development and business
incentives
for growth
-
promoting programs of a civic, social
and
cultural nature which are
designed
to increase the
functional
and aesthetic values of the community.
